Good TV

I watch a lot of TV as I've mentioned before. I just thought it was a good idea to update my thoughts on some shows I've been watching a lot of. I'll admit right up front that I haven't seen a single episode of Lost, Desperate Housewives, Law And Order, or Veronica Mars. I'm sure those shows are good, but jumping in now would just make me feel lost. I've also never seen 24, The OC, Invasion, or some of the other "hot" shows on TV. There are some that seem intriguing, but I'll wait until someone has the DVD to get caught up on these shows.

The ones I do watch and rarely miss are:

Sitcoms

How I Met Your Mother (Doogie Howser has the best lines on this show!)
The War At Home (An updated Married With Children? Very funny stuff from a parental point of view.)
Out Of Practice (I'm just still a huge fan of the FONZ!!)
According To Jim (The family sitcom is alive and still funny.)
Hope And Faith (Love Boat, Happy Days, Married With Children...how many good shows can this guy be on?)
Rodney (I love his standup and enjoy seeing a tamer version on TV. Now if HBO did sitcoms...)
My Name Is Earl (Karma trailer court style. Best new sitcom out there!)
The Office (The awkward moments are the laughs.)
Blue Collar TV (Foxworthy, Cable Guy, Engvall...need I say more?)
Joey (Friends. Need I say more?)
Twins (They own a lingerie company!!)
Still Standing (Jamie Gertz is so hot!)
George Lopez (The storylines are very good.)
Freddie (Just caught the first episode and I'm anxious to see if this show gets smarter.)

Action/Drama

Smallville (Never missed an episode and we're in season 5. I have the first 4 seasons on DVD. Superman!)
Surface (I'm anxious to see how this show pans out and what these creatures are. Could drop this one...)
Commander In Chief (I have everything recorded, but haven't started watching. Geena is in a league...)
E-Ring (A different show each week that can be watched alone. I love this type of show.)
CSI (I watch the reruns because there is so much on TV that night.)
CSI: Miami (I love these procedural shows.)
CSI: New York (I don't get to catch this often, but it's still the right formula.)
Ultimate Fighter (I'm not big on reality shows, but I like to see the fights.)
WWE RAW (It's like a comic book come to life.)
The Apprentice (You can only learn from successful people.)
Martha Stewart's Apprentice (I wasn't sure I'd like this, but the formula is a good one.)
Bones (What an awesome couple this could turn into! Another good procedural.)
Supernatural (I can't turn away from the TV when I watch this show.)
Criminal Minds (This reminds me of a short-lived show called UnSub, which I loved.)
My Fair Brady (Reminds me of my last long term relationship.)
Breaking Bonaduce ("I'm a car crash and you have every right to stop and look...")

Reruns

Fastlane (Derek and I watch this every time we find an episode we haven't seen before. It should still be on.)

I tried Related and found it a fun show, but I'm not sure how much longer it will be on. I did try Invasion and just found my mind wandering.

So much TV and so little time in a day to catch it all. Thankfully, I have two DVR boxes in the house and some nights I have 4 shows taping at the exact same time. Also, DVR does allow you to skip commercials quickly, so that reduces a one hour show to about 40 minutes.

Got any other shows I ought to see or opinions on these? I'm not into shows that are essentially soap operas, as you can tell. Let me know what your viewing habits are.
