2nd Place

Well, the Church League Fall Season is now over and all that's left is a single elimination tournament this coming Monday. We won both of our games a couple days ago to finish out the season 6-2-2. That means we have beat every team once and one of them twice. It's good to know we have that kind of talent on the team. We finished second place with that record. I sent out the batting averages for everyone so they know how they did and it surprised me that after Monday night, I was the top one in that category. I hit .767 and scored 8 runs in the 10 games we played. I was in the bottom half of the lineup all but twice, which accounts for the lack of runs scored. Maybe next year I can move myself up in the lineup to increase that. Since I get on base a lot with singles, I'm good for an RBI for one of our power hitters. We had two other guys hit over .700 that scored as much or more than me. It was a fun season and we have a great team. I'm anxious to see how we do in the tourney!
