- I'm a preacher's kid who grew up with a utopian view of what society could be. Maturity helped me realize that while utopia is a worthwhile goal, it is also utterly impossible. We will never agree on everything so freedom is the pursuit we must all have at the base of our society and the ideas we have to mold our society.
