Old Friends

I found out an old friend was searching for me online. I sent her a couple of messages at the various addresses I found. I hope she gets in touch. We were friends in junior high and high school through our churches. I have a phone number, but have been hesitant to call it.

I've always been bad about keeping up with friends. When I move I try to keep in touch, but the distance and the convenience make it tough to do. I wouldn't mind running into old friends and I do enjoy seeing them, but I rarely ever keep up with them until I see them again. Maybe I'm not exactly the nostalgic type. I don't leave friendships in a bad way or don't consider them less of a friend. We are just out of touch until we meet again, I guess. I do wish that I had kept up with more people as my life has progressed. There are some I do wonder about. Mostly girlfriends that I hope are much happier now.

I do have good friends and have always had good friends. I've moved around a lot in life and have met some great people. I am thankful for my friends.
