Monthly Parties

A few months ago, my two roommates and I decided we should start having parties. It's getting huge!

I had lived in an apartment for 3 years with a roommate I will mention later. He and I found another roommate and decided to get a house. We got a great 3 bedroom house with a full basement. The basement has a shelf setup that looks like bar. Oh, the plans we made and are still making!

Well, the original roommate moved out at the end of January so Derek found Pete to move in and now we have monthly parties. They started out on Saturday nights. Derek would buy several cases of Bud and Bud Light and a few bottles of of the hard stuff with plenty of Coke to mix it with. Derek and Pete later pitched in on a keg fridge and tested it plenty before having others use it.

These events started out with a dozen people and then have more than doubled each time. We then had about 25, then 60, and the last one was 135. Everyone has been great! We have had a blast! We moved the last one to a Friday and it was booming! We get music going and just let everyone mingle. The last party went through 3 and a half kegs, 3 cases of bud light, a bottle of Crown, a bottle of Fire and Ice, and a bottle of the Lady's Man drink. We even had a G-Sting contest at the last party and the girls are asking for a wet T-shirt contest combined with the G-String contest next time. WOW!

Now, see here is the rub. As you have seen in my profile, I know better. Do I choose to do better? Well, at least once a month I don't.

I don't drink often. I've never been drunk or high in my life. Yes, that is the truth. My biggest downfall is the fairer sex. I like women. I was entirely faithful in my marriage, though. I'm proud of that. I had opportunities, but I believe in the santity of marriage.
